It’s been awhile so I thought I’d pop in and say hi to all the new faces.

I’m Erika, a graphic designer who specializes in branding and web design for bright, badass weirdos.

Random fun fact: I’m obsessed with board games. Like, almost unhealthy obsessed. My partner and I have over 400 in our ever growing collection.

Damn I feel good.

Taking time for yourself is necessary. I get so wrapped up in feeling like I need to be available 24/7. It’s f**king exhausting. So, last week I totally unplugged. I went to Saint Martin with my best friend and tuned out the world. It was hard to let go but I did it.

You know what happened to my business? Absolutely nothing horrible. I managed to book a new client and three new discovery calls. All without having to stress about not responding immediately.

So, if you haven’t lately, take a break. Let yourself rest. Cause, babe, you deserve it.

Happy birthday to the OG brazen babe.

My mom was my biggest inspiration and THE reason I started this business. She was a fierce Swedish badass. She taught me that it was okay to be weird and also successful af. She taught me the importance of supporting women and just being unapologetically yourself.

I wish she could see all I’ve done and how many f**king incredible women I’ve been able to help. But, I know she’d be proud.

I recently redesigned the logo and website for Faded Barbershop (). Becky is the ultimate babe and I was so lucky to get to work with her. ⁠

While the logo was originally well-designed, it was dated and not very fitting to the brand. I wanted to create something unique that fit the style of her shop while also being flexible enough to be used in a variety of contexts. I began by gathering ideas from Becky. She had some specific things they liked about the old logo — it was personal, friendly, and playful but they also wanted something more modern that might fit in with the direction she's taking her empire. ⁠
