Here is his BIO from his foster family:
Monty is a sweet puppy about 9 months old and 11 pounds who is made of all sugar and very little spice. He is a dachshund through and through. He follows scents on walks with his nose down and barks at things he hears in the distance. He has the dachshund stubbornness but isn’t bold enough to follow through. He’s friendly with humans, kids and other dogs. He loves giving kisses and rolling around with the other puppy in our house. He would be great with a family and we believe he would be best to have another dog he can play with (all the two puppies do all day is roll around and play).
Monty is still learning and needs someone who is patient and used to dealing with submissive stubborn pups. He lets us know when he has to go out but still has accidents. He is submissive with humans and sometimes tinkles if he gets scared. He gets sad when we leave. He is not destructive but is still learning what’s ok to chew on. He is crate trained but also does well outside the kennel when we leave. Monty loves to snuggle and burrow and is a bit spoiled already - he sleeps in bed with us. He would benefit from having another young dog around since he learns what to do by following and copying our puppy.
