Our team is asked frequently what promoters and booking agents want to see, here’s a snippet of advice.

1. Have a 30 min mix prepped of music you’d play that aligns with the line up/venue OR a link with demos on SoundCloud, Dropbox, etc

For example if you want to open for a Bass Headliner, don’t send Kpop hits 🤣

2. Provide an updated Press Kit or EPK, this is your music resume. What ROI do you bring to the line-up?

3. Be open to networking. Go to a venue where you want to play and show support for others, be kind, and introduce yourself on site.

4. Email and follow up. Keep in mind promoters and the music industry are busiest on weekends. Monday-Wednesday is best times for email.

5. Be a good human, speak highly of others, be mindful of your surroundings and manners, and make sure you have your socials and personal contact info up to date.
