Our special visitor this Wednesday at KTEN was a beautiful 3 year old lab/pit mix from the Texoma Dog Ranch Rescue! Seven is a mama to 7 puppies that she had a little over a year ago. All of her puppies were adopted, but now it’s time for seven to find her forever home!🏠🐶
Seven is fixed, great with other dogs and kids and we think she’d be well behaved with cats, too! She’s also GREAT for car rides and so loving! Just the sweetest baby! Come give her a visit and bring the whole family! She might be the missing piece of your home!❤️🧩🦴

🚨🚨🚨MEET MITCH🚨🚨🚨
Our first adoptable pup of 2025 and to kick off the new year we have a 4 year old chunky baby that just wants to sit at your feet and get some loves ❤️ Mitch is a cattle kelpie mix with a gentle personality and the most precious little face! A perfect match for his sweet smile… the sausage shape he lugs around with him 🥹 he’s just adorable!
Mitch loves other dogs, all people and he passed our kiss test with flying colors! He’s fixed, heartworm negative, we didn’t even hear him bark and we had to pick him up and place him on the couch 😩 He just wants to make sure the people he’s around are happy before he settles, such a distinguished gentleman!
We did notice that when Mitch meets a man, he greets him by sitting at his feet. No jumping! Mitch has a little lucky fin ear (one of them was injured before he got to the rescue) but he lets you touch it and it doesn’t bother him a bit. Just something that makes him unique ❤️

Clouds roll in Saturday and light rain and drizzle possible throughout the day ahead of the arctic air. Temperatures will be in the lower to middle 50s. Winds will be breezy. Sunday temperatures fall into the 30s and wind chills in the teens.
Seasonable conditions continue to prevail through the end of the week. Some rain will be possible ahead of a front on Sunday which will usher in considerably cooler temperatures next week.
A cold front tonight will bring seasonably cool conditions for the rest of the week. Rain chances increase ahead of a stronger cold front on Sunday, with much colder air filtering into Texoma behind the front. Twinkle is a four month old tabby cat. She was rescued from a box in the park. Her brother was adopted last week, and now Twinkle is hoping to find her forever home too! Twinkle is spayed, uses the litter box and LOVES other kitties! DAWG tells us she is young enough to adapt to a family with a dog as well.

This 1 year old lab mix would be the perfect Christmas puppy for your family! She came to Denison Animal Welfare Group as a stray and she has been patiently waiting for her furrever home ever since.
