I mentioned that Thuy was a fan of my show. She was killed by a multiple time drunk driver a few weeks ago on the river and leaves behind young children. This was her last message, just minutes before she was killed. I am sharing with permission. I looked up the penalties for drunk driving and they are appallingly low. “I just want to get home to my babies..”. Feel free to share

This case has broken my heart and I’ve mentioned in my own home around the dinner table. Then I found out that Thuy was a fan of my show. From my heart to Thuy’s family: I am thinking of you all directly and praying fervently for understanding. This man is allegedly actually on his 3rd offense DWI. She was a beautiful woman and deserves to be with her children who love her so much. For all who knew her and love her, you are not alone. I am beside you as we now fight for justice. ♥️ Prayers too for the Sharkey family as everything I read about him proved him a positive man and an absolute winner.
