Yes, it is true. I was hired last week to be the School District's World Languages Program Planner. I have known only a week. Spanish 4 & 5 will be taught by Ms Merced. My last duty day is Friday, the 21st. It is a step up for me and the job allows me to better support my family. I leave with joyful anticipation as well as sadness as the Class of 2012 is one of a kind!

I just got back to our page tonight and found all your messages. It has been a long week with my husband in Trauma ICU after a fall. He has a spinal cord injury with life altering implications. He was in critical condition for 6 days before surgery on Friday and is still in serious but a more stable condition now. Thank you for all your sweet and soothing words. I plan to be back on Tuesday for the Mock.

You are all on my mind, and I can feel and hear your concerns for me and about your exams. I am in crisis mode, but I take very seriously my responsibility to you. I will start publishing notes, please keep checking back. I have not been able to from the hospital as it blocks Facebook from its Wifi. Go figure...... I am only at home after 10, so I have been limited.

Anuncios: Period 2 meets right after homeroom in my room Tuesday. Period 6 switches in at 9:30. Period 6 goes to their homeroom first. Both classes will have the Vocabulario Preliminar matching words with definitions quiz at the beginning of class.

IB seniors are scheduled to meet in homerooms in Bldg #5, 3rd floor, East Wing on Mon, Tues and Wed. mornings. Several teachers are scheduling classes at present for seniors, as there are no testers on our floor. Even day classes are my main target, as you have 3 short classes next week. Stay tuned.
