What seems like a million years ago, when we first started out, Visual Adjectives hosted a forum. Remember those? It was a place for writers and creatives to share ideas, get tips for writing,and find resources to use in researching for their creative works.
In the process, we had some very lively discussions on various topics. Some of them were hysterically funny, but all of them were really interesting. We had a great first two weekends at The Florida Renaissance Festival. We wanted to share a few pictures of the Sultana, Grand Vizir Ibrahim, the Bazaar keeper, Tahirah, his Nene, (which would be his grandmother to us). The Sultana's court was visited by dignitaries from far-off fantasy lands, both wisemen and Royals. We bid them a fond farewell at the weekend's end, with promises to see them next year. This coming weekend will bring upon us Odins Wrath, when the Norse come aviking. Fortunately, we look forward to trading with them at the festival rather than fending off a pillaging invasion. Come visit, and enjoy the festivities, food, and a frosty tankard of cold Cider. Visit the bazaar and meet Tahirah and procure the secrets of the Hammam, The Grand Vizir's favorite coffee, or the Sultana's preferred tea to take home with you. While you're here, don't miss the demonstration of swordsmanship displayed by the Vizir and the Janissaries, the Sultana's faithful troops.
