Join us this Friday, January 10 at Roy Musquiz Park in Del Rio, TX, for a food distribution event starting at 9:00 AM until supplies last! 🍞🥫🍎

Please note: Changes may happen depending on the weather. As of now, the food distribution will be starting at 9:00 AM.

We kindly ask that attendees please do not block driveways or intersections to ensure smooth traffic flow and safety for everyone.

🌬️ Important: The weather will be very cold, so please be sure to dress warmly and stay comfortable while you wait.

Warming Center hours have been extended!!

City of Del Rio Extends Warming Center Hours Through Saturday

Del Rio, Texas - The City of Del Rio has extended the hours of operation for the warming center located at 1105 W. De La Rosa, Joe Ramos Center due to ongoing cold weather. The shelter will remain open through Saturday at 9:00 AM, at which time it will close.

To accommodate this vital service, activities previously scheduled at the Joe Ramos Center have been adjusted, and individuals with reservations have been notified,
"The activation of the warming center is to make sure everyone who needs a warm, safe
place to stay has access to it, said Mayor Al Arreola. "Thank you to the City staff who have worked to coordinate the opening of the center and ensure that we are ready to serve those in need.

Free transportation is available to help residents reach the warming center. Transportation is
provided directly from homes to the Joe Ramos Center, free of charge, thanks to a donation from
The Salvation Army
