War is hell. So is returning from war.
In his book "Two Wars", author David Colson recounts his experiences as a helicopter gunner during some of the most brutal campaigns of the Vietnam War. Then he tells of his second war that followed his return home on the strip of Atlanta, where he became a drug dealer in a hippie scene that dominated the streets and defined the culture of the 1960s.
In the aftermath of battle, after his discharge and being awarded numerous medals, including, a silver star and two bronze stars, Colson lived in Atlanta where the drug culture became a part of his life with episodes that sometimes involved life and death.
