There are more exotic/boutique/expensive/cork sniffin’ amps out there and in this room, but somehow these two amps keep sneaking onto recordings. A lot of the time, it’s in places you’d least expect it.

Another studio tool that has been absolutely indispensable. This was all over the album, the single, a ton of demos I will maybe finish one day. If it’s just doubling bass lines, atmospheric background, or creating melodies, this thing brings a lot of texture. Thanks for the creation of Grandmother.

Why not highlight some of my favorite little studio things? This is a fun one. It’s a small condenser mic built into a shotgun shell by . It’s about the best thing any form of ammunition has ever done. These are killer tom mics. I’ve tried other things I own and just keep coming back to these. Fantastic.
