Ascent TV Our Vision: Educate. Enlighten. Elevate. Our Mission: To entertain to inspire for the purpose of education. I.M.A.M.

established an online television station in 2007 called Ascent TV. At first, the station focused on producing educational programming catered to Muslims living in the west. These programs addressed relevant issues in the form of talk shows and lectures including topics like marriage, dating, depression, choosing a career, finding Islam, youth involvement, etc. After two and a half years, Ascent TV

produced more than 500 episodes of educational programming. After this first phase, Ascent TV shifted its focus on tackling one of the most influential mediums that exist today for the youth, the entertainment industry. As a result, it updated its mission to "Entertain to Inspire for the purpose of Education". With this new aim, Ascent TV would be taking on the task of offering a competitive and positive alternative to what the youth are already watching.
