Self Deliverance Instructions
Step 1. You must be saved and Spirit filled.
Jesus Christ of Nazareth, You are God, you came in the flesh, you were born of a virgin, died on the cross and rose again for my sin. You are seated at the right hand on the Father, I believe in you and confess you as my Savior, My Healer, Deliverer and my God. Holy Spirit, fill me from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet. Immerse me Holy Spirit. Baptize me in fire. I give you every part of me, my heart, mind, body, soul and spirit. Everything I am is yours Jesus.
Step 2. Forgiveness
Father, I repent confess all my wrong doings to you and I receive the forgiveness you died on that cross and for your blood that covers all my sin. Thank you Jesus for forgiving me. I choose to forgive everyone who has ever hurt me and I release them to you in Jesus name. (This is a good time to name your offenders and release them one by one.)
Step 3. Claim your authority
Thank you Jesus that you have given me all authority to trample over serpents and scorpions and over all the power over the enemy and that nothing by any means shall harm me. (Luke 10:19)
4. Take authority
Right now, I take authority over every spirit that is not of you.
Every spirit of bitterness, resentment, hatred, anger, unforgiveness, trauma, abuse, word curses, sickness, infirmity, anger, fear, anxiety, deception, confusion, religious, legalism, me now in the mighty name of Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit and shed blood of Jesus Christ.
Step 5. Breathe
Spirit means breath. It leaves by breath. We are at war with the powers of the air. The Spirit of God is Breath, Pneuma means Breath. The word says that the breath of God slays the wicked. That breath is in you.
Say out loud “Thank you Jesus for your breath that slays the wicked and I breathe you in. I breathe out any spirit that is not of you now in Jesus name.”
With each spirit you command, breathe. Inhale and exhale. Let His very breath slay the wicked and deliver you. His Spirit is the one who does the work. Not us.
