Random acts of kindness, where shopping is a pleasure. Have I got a story for you, yes it’s one of my long ones but well worth it.

A couple nights ago after my show, I stopped in at one of my favorite grocery stores to purchase one $2 Power Ball ticket. The cashier, Glenn, greeted me with his normal, “How are you doing Brother?” I said, “Fine how are you my friend, how’s your night going? One Power Ball please.”
I handed him the $2, he gave me the ticket and I said, “Have a great, safe night.”
He replied, “Hang on a second.”

He takes out his wallet, pulls out a $20 bill, puts it in the register and then tears off and gives me a $20 scratch off ticket, with a top prize of $10 million.
I was like, “What!? You don’t have to do that, but thank you for the offer.”
He said, “Listen, you’re always so nice, always smiling and such a friendly customer to talk to. It’s my gift to you. Have a blessed night..” (As he always ends our conversation.)
I said, “My God, Glenn, thank you so much and when we win, Bro you are set for life.”

I just couldn’t believe this cashier’s kind gesture. I got to my car and couldn’t wait to scratch it. It was dark and I mistakenly thought the number 8 on the ticket, worth $1 million hit, but instead I needed the number 6. My pulse was racing for that brief moment and thought wow, it’s finally happening.

I just had to share this random act of kindness with you. Glenn my friend, you are now on my lottery sharing hit list when I finally win it. Thank you so much for your kindness, and I hope you, “Have a blessed day” as well.

Our prayers go out to all that lost their lives and sadly it is confirmed Captain Jonathan Campos was the pilot. Our prayers go out to his family and friends in our area.

One of the 67 victims in a crash involving an American Airlines jet and an Army helicopter was from Central Florida, according to a family member.
