Ready to take the tree down?

Out with the old (tree), in with the new (year). Live Christmas trees should be placed curbside for pick up on yard waste collection days.

What to know:
• Remove all lights, decorations and tree stand from the tree.
• Trees with decorations like tinsel and ornaments and artificial trees are considered trash.
• Trees will be collected Saturday, Dec. 28, Saturday, Jan. 4 and Wednesdays starting Jan. 8.

I’m really good friends with Batman, so he asked me to call Children’s Hospitals and Senior living centers from Jacksonville to Orlando to spread a little holiday cheer and put some smiles on peoples faces this weekend and on Christmas Eve with a little surprise visit from Batman himself.
