The Rowan tree is an iconic symbol of springtime in Scotland that produces delicate white flowers each May and vibrant red berries every third winter. This setting of the traditional Scottish tune is delicate and expressive, a reflection of the nature of the Rowan tree itself and the lyrics are a sentimental reminder of childhood and heritage.
