The Ohio Senate approved a public university reform bill on Wednesday, Feb. 12. The bill would ban diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives on campus, require students to take a state-designed American history class and prohibit full-time university faculty from striking, among other things. The bill will go to the Ohio House for approval. The Wright State Guardian has reached out the University for comment and will continue investigating the impact this could have on our community.
