Caught beneath the water falling down the dam,
Shot through domed glass walls encasing music and magic,
Dancing through alleyways and historic paths of cobblestone,
Painted on the faces of the ones who stop to watch the sunset,
A prism of history and renaissance,
Reflections across the centuries-
A city cut from gemstone, to cast its own light back into the night.

Today was a first for me as a podcast host as I got to interview Independent candidate for Ohio's 10th Congressional District, Michael Harbaugh (Harbaugh for Congress 2024). While I have interviewed congressional candidates on the show before, the "first" was actually smoking a joint with a congressional candidate as we talked about his campaign and where he stands on the issues. Needless to say, he supports drug legalization. Michael and his wife co-own and operate The Wild Banana, a food truck that sells smoothies and smoothie bowls. Today we are excited to welcome to the Discover Dayton Podcast the show's first new regular contributor, Patrick Grieve, who will be doing film reviews for the podcast! We just posted two episodes - one where Arch interviews him as a new contributor (Ep. 77) and another (Ep. 78) which is his first episode and a review of the movie "Poor Things."
