I've been podcasting for over a year now which means you and I have been doing the hard, inner work for over a year together at this point. With my 30th birthday coming up, I've been reflecting on a lot of things and I wanted to take the time to acknowledge all of the work that I've done to get to where I am today. Sometimes we're so busy doing the work we forget to celebrate all the hard things we have accomplished. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, so I wanted to devote an episode to Mental Health this month because it is so important to me. I really believe that doing small things regularly can really nurture your mind and help keep you in a safe mental space. In this episode I am sharing ideas for improving your mental health that are easy and quick (at least in my opinion). I am all for doing things that will make a difference without having to plan or stress too much when doing them. Please take a little extra care of yourself this month, you deserve it.

I stopped posting on social media regularly last summer and I really needed the break. I was struggling with constantly feeling like I had to perform for my Instagram stories, I bought things or clothes just to have something to post on my feed and looking at my analytics constantly was keeping me from being present in my life. I no longer had a desire to share the special pieces of my life with the world. I am thankful for the break that I took, it gave me a chance to enjoy my "boring" daily life and set new boundaries around social media.
