Today was the official opening of the MLK Park, Davenport’s first formal memorial to commemorate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Along with celebrating Dr. King’s legacy, the MLK Park will also feature the city’s rich ethnic and cultural history as it relates to people of color. What a great turnout! CJ Parker, some Zeta Phi Beta Sorority members, and MANY other supporters/ groups/ organizations here to celebrate this milestone!
