🎧🎧New Episode out TODAY!!🎧🎧
Pastor Adam and Steph begin a new series of episodes by meditating on quotes from respected Christian leaders throughout history about the profound practice of being thankful. This week's quote comes from 20th-century Christian apologist G.K. Chesterton, who believed that thanks are the highest form of thought. Pastor Adam and Steph reflect on how that could be, drawing connections between a thankful mindset and the funnel of gratitude that inevitably leads to acknowledging our creator.

"The love of money is the root of all evil. It should be equally obvious to us, though, that money is a powerful tool. It's the most powerful tool that you and I have at our disposal when it comes to providing basic material necessities in life, or, what I mean by that is, helping others." - Pastor Adam

🎧New Episode🎧 Out Today!!
God is generous, and we are to be like him; therefore, we are to be generous. We have been so abundantly blessed, and God has given us freely everything we have, beyond anything we deserve or what our own efforts could achieve. Given this, we should know that everything we have belongs to the Lord, just as we belong to the Lord. In this final episode of the "Pastor Pleas" series, Pastor Adam levels with listeners about the necessity of putting God first in how we manage our money and more. *Scripture referenced in this episode: Matthew 10:8

This week on the podcast Chloe reminded us of the importance of opening up to our close circle of friends.
"Be okay with sitting in the uncomfortable feeling of opening up with those that are close to you - your close inner circle - and trust that they are going to have your back if they are the right people." - Chloe

Today is National Motivation and Inspiration Day! This week on the podcast Stephanie and Chloe talked about being our authentic selves. Steph shared some inspiration about being joyful as well!
"We find ourselves complaining, complaining, complaining. But we get this life, and when it's done it's done. So how can we show up authentically in being joyful people as well? Or silly people as well - having some fun. Yes, life is serious, and we should take it seriously, but also, how can we be this other part of us that God created us to be, which is people that are joyful?" - Steph

🎧🎧New Episode Out Today!! 🎧🎧 Happy New Year!! Special Guest!!
Stephanie and Chloe talk about living authentically. Check it out!
God lovingly crafted us in the wombs of our mothers, and He made us with distinct features and personalities. We do not need to hide our quirks and feelings to impress other people. We can be silly, we can be open about what bothers us, and we can choose to be joyful. The Messy Walk host Steph and special guest Chloe are here to remind us of the importance of living authentically before God and others, and that the people who are meant to be in our lives are not going to leave if we are honestly ourselves. *Scripture referenced in this episode: Psalm 118:24, 139:13-14, 1 Corinthians 12:27, Philippians 4:8

This weeks episode was about not living together before marriage! Here is a snippet from the episode.
"What's interesting is, if you will pay attention, there are so many things that we have learned in the last hundred years in sociology and psychology that point to things about our mental health, our living arrangements, what's healthy for us, what's not healthy for us - all these things - that the Bible's been saying for thousands of years." - Pastor Adam

🎧🎧New Episode🎧🎧
The Bible has a lot to say about sexual purity and holiness, and you don't have to read too far to know that its authors agree that sharing a bed and a home is intended for marriage. However, in today's culture, many couples who are not legally married find reasons to cohabitate. Unfortunately, couples who live together before marriage are 31% more likely to have their marriage end in divorce. Pastor Adam and Steph share statistics that show why living together before marriage is a bad idea, and they encourage couples who are skeptical of getting married to take the plunge.

"I hear people say, 'I don't have to go to church to be a Christian,' and they are absolutely right. Salvation is through faith alone in Christ alone. You don't have to go home to be married, but stay away long enough and your relationship will be affected." - Tony Evans

🎧🎧 New Episode Out Today! 🎧🎧 Check it out!
Church attendance is on the decline. Many people consider themselves regular church attenders if they go to services once every couple of months. However, when we skip out on corporate worship, we miss the most important thing that happens when Christians gather: the act of honoring God together in unity. Pastor Adam and Steph plead with listeners not to isolate themselves, but to prioritize church attendance and being in community with fellow believers so that the body of Christ can continue to thrive.

🎧🎧 New episode out NOW!!! 🎧🎧
Social media is a tool that is neither inherently good nor bad. Studies have proven that extended usage of social media platforms can have many harmful side effects on the human mind. At the same time, there are good things that can be done through social media to spread awareness and connect people. Pastor Adam and Steph warn that if we are not careful, social media can monopolize our time. These online platforms are designed to suck you in, and you need to be careful about the things you let into your mind. What goes in eventually comes out, so we should fill our minds with things that are pure and helpful. *Scripture referenced in this episode: Philippians 4:8

"Please, for the love of God, open your mouth and share your faith more often! We are seriously diminishing the power of the Holy Spirit and the transformative work that the gospel is intended to do - and will accomplish - through the mouths of regular old everyday Christians." - Pastor Adam

🎧🎧New Episode🎧🎧 Listen now!!
In today's culture, people are less interested in church and are less likely to trust that pastors have good intentions. The internet has a wealth of content from famous church leaders, Christian authors, and influencers, but when people consume content online instead of building personal relationships with other believers, the seeds of true discipleship are not allowed to grow. With these things in mind, Christians tend to assume that other people will be led to Christ if we can just get them to listen to the right sermon or faith-based content. Yet it has always been God's plan to use everyday, ordinary Christians to share their own personal faith with other people to reach them with the gospel. Pastor Adam and Steph plead with Christian listeners to share their faith more. If you are a Christian, know that you have more power and influence than you realize. People are more likely to want to listen to you than a polished speaker, and you should see everywhere you go as an opportunity to share the good news of Jesus Christ. *Scripture referenced in this episode: 1 Peter 3:15, John 3:16
