Scars of Hope: Reflections

As I bid farewell to 2025,
I reflect on a journey that's been real,
Tears have fallen, hearts have been broken,
But through it all, I've been made stronger, unspoken.

I've cried more than I've smiled,
Hurt more than I've been healed,
Lost more than I've gained,
Said goodbye more than hello, it's been revealed.

Betrayed more than I've seen loyalty,
But in this, I've been broken, not crushed,
Distressed, but not discouraged,
Hurt, but never hated, my soul is flushed.

Helpless, but not hopeless,
Lost, but not finished,
Fell, but not failed,
Wealthless, but not worthless, my heart remains thrilled.

Frustrated, but not giving up,
Injured, but not quitting,
I fight on, though hurting,
I run, though I fall, my spirit's still burning.

My faith is burning, my heart is pumping,
My GOD is LIVING, my soul is jumping!
I bear scars, but I'm healed,
My past is moving, and I'm forgiven, I'm revealed.

2025, thank you for the scars of hope,
For the lessons learned, for the strength I've found,
I'm grateful for the journey, for the trials, and the might,
For in them, I've found my strength, my guiding light.

2026, here I come, if GOD permits,
With a heart renewed, and a spirit that won't quit,
I'll walk in faith, with hope in my heart,
For I know that my GOD will never depart.

Thief of Hearts
Ded: Ms. Mysterious

I stride to the bench, a humble petitioner,
My heart a trembling brief, your eyes the summons.

You’re charged with grand larceny—
Stealing pulse, peace, and every sigh,
A silent robbery in moonlit disguise.

No alibi can mute the echo of your smile,
No objection can bar the verdict I’ve signed:
Guilty of captivating a soul,
Sentenced to forever—your captive, your king.

Every beat now bears your name, a stamped decree,
In the court of my chest, you reign supreme,
No appeal, just an endless reverie—
Ms. Mysterious, you’ve taken the key.

Now the docket fills with whispered clauses:
- Article 1:Your gaze issues a writ of attraction,
- Article 2:My ribs submit to habeas corpus—produce the heart.
- Article 3: Each smile is a contractual estoppel,binding us in perpetuity.

Witnesses:
- Stare decisis of starlight,
- Corpus delicti of moonlit whispers,
- Prima facie evidence—your radiance, irrefutable.

I file a motion for permanent injunction,
To restrain all other glances from trespassing,
And pray for a remedy—your love, in specific performance.

No statute of limitations on this affection,
No jurisdictional boundary can cage this flame.
You, Ms. Mysterious, remain the principal in my court of dreams,
Where every night I plead: Grant me the verdict—your heart

Without you, my ship was sinking.
Without you, things fell apart.
You only walked away from my sight,
Not from my heart.
You are always queen of my heart.
You are still the rose of my heart…

Now that you walked away,
Now that I am alone along the way…
I miss you each day…
I am sorry I upset you…
I am sorry I hurt you…
I just want you to know I need you…
I truly miss you…
I will forever love you…
You are still the rose of my heart…
My love, you I can never thwart…

I am sorry that I hurt you 😬
I am sorry for not being perfect.
I am sorry I am a disappointment.
I am sorry that I let you down.
I am sorry that I am not good 😬
Let me mend your broken heart,
And wipe away your tears.
Let me hold you to stop your violent shaking
And warm your freezing hands.

I gave you my trust and you betrayed it…
I gave you my love and honey, you rejected it…
For the tears I’ve lost…
For the pain it cost…
I still find myself loving you…

And all of our tears will be lost in the rain…

Yeah I still need you…

After I moved, I realized I couldn’t live without you.
I want to hug you so much right now.
I feel your body next to mine and kiss you 💋
I will not manage to live without you.
Let’s put our differences behind our backs,
Let’s forget our unreasonable and useless fights.
In truth, the right decision is to go back,
The right thing to do is cherish the best we both have to give each other.
The best thing I can give you is *MY LOVE*.
Everything will be like before,
Everything will be like the beginning,
Believe you me!

I hold on to the joy of my strife,
Our past buried, and future brightly mirrored.

Fearing neither harsh storms nor the blazing sun…

We have learnt our lesson, but our love has conquered it all…

I've walked a lonely trail, worn down by the miles,
Long enough to know the weight of solitude's bitter trials.
I've tried relationships, like ships on the ocean's waves,
Most sinking, leaving me stranded, lost, and craving a safer haven.

I've seen the sun shine bright, and the darkest night's despair,
I've climbed the highest highs, and plumbed the darkest depths, with only my heart to care.
I've smiled, I've cried, I've turned left and right,
Searching for what's right, often leaving it behind in the dark of night.

But then I saw you, and my heart skipped a beat,
A jolt of electricity that awakened a love so pure, so sweet.
I've been soaked by rain, and hammered by pain,
I've walked through fire, daring to find my heart's deepest desire, my soul's refrain.

Now, my search is over, my heart is at rest,
I've found my haven, my shelter from the stormy crest.
It's you, my love, my everything, my heart's desire,
Forever and always, my love will burn like a fire that never tires.

I want to grow old with you, to watch our love unfold,
To glow bright, to shine like stars, our love story told.
I want to rise and fall with you, to laugh and cry,
To fight and make up, to love and be loved, till the day we say goodbye.

With you, I'll brave the storms, and weather the rain,
With you, I'll dance in the sunshine, and love without a stain.
In sickness and health, in weakness and strength,
With you, my love, is where I want to be, now and till the end of length.

I love you, my mysterious one, my heart's desire,
Happy Valentine's Day, my love, my soul's sweet fire.
