With the abundance of National Days out there to celebrate just about anything imaginable, today's National Renewal Day may be one of the lesser recognized, but most important. This day serves as a perfect reminder and opportunity to reset and start anew. To refresh, reconnect, and renew.

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." Romans 12:2

In case you've missed it– we're sharing the Abiart journey over the past 7 years on the blog. Beginning in a storage room, how we marketed to the first stores, and what I'd tell a younger me... among a few other details. My prayer is you'll enjoy the read and be inspired in some small way. xoxo, abi

Let's be real. The past month I have totally dropped off the face of the earth on social media, connecting via newsletter... the list goes on. The first week of September was spent moving to our new warehouse! Each card, envelope, shipping box or pen was transported a mile down the road, thanks to my husband Ryan and the Abiart girls! Our new space is 3 times the size of the previous, plus features luxuries such as a kitchen, restroom and a great view! God dropped it in our laps and we are ever grateful!

The following week Janella's dear mother was in a bicycle accident, breaking both her wrist and leg. The next week Lydia left for a term of service voulenterring at a refugee camp in Greece. Also. that week Janella's sister had a stillborn baby girl, heartbreaking! All this to say, we had an eventful month for our little team and our only focus became shipping orders! October is welcomed with open arms and we thank God for being with us in the good times, along with the bad. The verse on this month's printable speaks of PEACE, at ALL times, in EVERY way. What a promise!

Thank you for your patience and understanding. These days consist mostly of counting cards and painting racks for Janella while I design new product. Plans are to release the 2019 products the first week of December, so stay tuned! Also, watch for a warehouse tour on the blog later this month– no worries, we’ll send you a link once published. Warmly, Abigail

As summer days fade into autumn we know the season of rest is before us. We harvest the garden and put it to rest. Stock piles of firewood speak of the warmth that will flicker within while the snow flies. Within us, a stirring for slower days and apple cider, do you feel it?

Autumn, a golden opportunity to grow within and as important as hard work. God created the world with seasons, for a reason. I am thankful for autumn, not because it means summer is over, but for the reminder to rest after an honest days work.

In my latest blog post, I share a bit about my recent visit to Columbus + slowing down to enjoy the last days of summer. Click the link below to read all about it!

I always feel torn these August days. A part of me mourning the last days of hot, real days of “summer.” Another welcoming slower days, early evenings and fresh cider. There are things one can complain about in summer and then there are always those bemoaning the fact that winter follows autumn,...

I don’t know the week you’re having... if there is fear, inadequacy, or simply the craziness of summer, but this verse speaks to the anxiety and unknown journey before us.

May this promise be a reminder... you are not alone.

Wisely & Slow || Printable & Lockscreen

As the precious days pass by the words of William Shakespeare come to mind, “Wisely and slow, they stumble that run fast.” In the season of constant haste we miss so much. Often in our chaos we forget to rest. Go ahead–stop and pick those wildflowers for your kitchen. Spend some time on the porch swing, you won’t regret it. May this month be one of growth, savoring, “wisely and slow” for you and yours.

Happy June!
-Abi & the team
