Good morning. During meditation, I have come up with some questions. I have said I will never get married again. That thought came from a place of hurt. Often times I got called controlling because I had to say No sweetheart, now is not a good time to do that. No sweetheart, that is going to put the family in a bad situation. Am I wrong as a father, husband, warrior, man who stands by what I say? I live by my principles, with honor and practice integrity.

1. I want to remain in control of the situation, my emotions, and my time.
2. I will not tolerate disrespect from anyone, especially from my woman.
3. I come with ground rules and guidelines.
4. If we are going to be together, you will respect yourself and me.
5. I will listen to you, but that doesn’t mean I am going to go along with what you say every time.
6. Every decision I make is for the greater good of the family.
7. You still have a choice to decide if you want to follow me as the leader. I also have a choice: if you don’t follow me, to decide if you are worthy of my investment.
8. I fight every day in the world because the world is harder on me as a black man than on any other race. I need to come home and be replenished so I can go back out tomorrow and fight again for us.
9. When I bring the bag home, I need you to multiply it, not burn through it with things that don’t benefit the family as a whole.
10. I will love you, and I will put my life on the line every day as the ultimate sacrifice to protect, provide, and preserve you so you can nurture my nation.

I just needed to get this off my mind.
