8 MONTHS! 🎉🥰

Ellie has been 8 months for 2 weeks now, but with the move and everything, we fell behind on posting this! 😅 She is learning so much so quickly, and her personality has really started to shine! We are so blessed to have our Ellie bean, and can’t wait to see what she else learns over this next month! 🩷

While taking photos at a vineyard in Rhode Island, I had a rush of emotions for how profoundly grateful I am to have reached this point in my life, reflecting on how far Tay and I have come despite the numerous challenges we’ve faced along the way. The struggles we endured together have shaped us, guiding us toward personal growth and a deeper appreciation for our journey. ❤️ As I looked back, I was filled with a sense of accomplishment and thankfulness for all of the moments, good and bad, that have brought Tay and I to where we are today. I’m so thankful for our backstory and how it has built such a strong/loving relationship. 🥹

I wanted to create a piece of jewelry to remind me of our backstory and how everyone has a backstory. It’s what makes you the person that you are today - The amazing moments, but also hard-times that you worked through to get to where you are. This piece is meant to symbolize your unique backstory as a reminder that you are one of a kind because of all that you’ve been through. ❤️

7 MONTHS! 🥹
Each month we get worse and worse about posting these on the exact date. 😅 Our sweet Ellie has 4 teeth now and is learning so much! She is sitting like a pro and is trying to learn to crawl! It’s hard to believe that she is closer to a year old, than the day she was born. Idk where the last 7 months have gone, but we are enjoying every minute of it, making memories, and showing her the world! 🤍

I finally realized why Ellie wanted that cup so bad at the end! 😂❤️ backstory ::: Kay and I have been spending a lot of time playing with Ellie in the floor. She is so good at sitting on her own and rolling around, but one thing she hasn’t been able to do is crawl. We haven’t been too worried because we know that some babies never crawl and go straight to walking, and we knew that she would learn in her own time. but we have still showed her how to do it, just in case she decided that she wanted to learn now. Well I think she has picked up some of our teachings, because today when I came home, I found Kay and Ellie playing! Kay was setting Ellie’s favorite cup just a little too far away, and Ellie was trying to get it. Then it happened. Ellie got her feet into a good spot, and took a few movements forward and crawled!! Kay was so excited that she let out a little yell and it startled Ellie. But she crawled! We are so excited because it will be so fun to see Ellie move around and explore her surroundings when we are playing on her mat, or outside in our yard. I am so proud of Ellie for learning so well. She always picks up new skills so fast, and it always looks so natural for her. She is such a precious baby and we are so blessed to have such a happy baby! I’m so glad that we finally found a place for the cats! 🥹❤️ backstory ::: Kay and I have been looking for our first home for a long time! We finally found it and got moved in a couple weeks ago and it’s been such an amazing experience. With us moving in, the cats moved in also! They were a little scared on the first day, but soon they were roaming the halls, playing, and lounging in the sun! They have been so happy since we moved here, and I think that they love all of the light and life that they can see! Before they had 1 window that they could look out, and all they could see was a balcony. Now they can see trees and bugs and birds and other people walking their dogs and babies! 😂 I’m so glad that they have a forever home! We plan on living here for many years, so this will probably be the last home for Yammy! And maybe even Gravy! Ellie is also excited that it’s finally clean! 😂❤️ backstory ::: We FINALLY got our kitchen cleaned up and unpacked! We have been unboxing our house for the last week and it has been in a messy state since we moved in. The kitchen and living room is where we spend our most time, but it is also where most of the mess was. But after a week of unboxing and straightening up, the kitchen is finally clean! It looks so good and feels so good to have a home for everything. We have always lived in places with really small kitchens, and so fighting for space was normal for us, but now we finally have room for everything! After getting all of the boxes off of the counter, the kitchen can finally work as a kitchen! 😂 I am so glad that kay loves it and feels at peace with the kitchen! I can’t wait for all the fun nights cooking together and making memories in our kitchen! And all the nights of keeping it clean and doing the dishes! 😅 I want to keep it as good as it looks now because a clean house is so good for our mental health!
