Headed to New Mexico a week ago: a bit of retreat, a bit of work. The landscape is full of surprises: miles of desert give way to green fields and farms. Driving north of Albuquerque, I faced a wall of gray, sky and mountains indistinguishable, pierced by lightning. This is the calm after the storm.

My script EXPECTATIONS is a SEMI-FINALIST in the Women in Film Media-Colorado (WIFMCO) Short Screenplay Contest and will be read THIS SUNDAY! ZOOM IN for the all three readings - and vote! First prize is $1000 finishing grant!

This will be a live read of the top 3 winners from the WIFMCO Short Screenplay Contest. Local actors will perform these scripts live in a "cold read" style.
