2024 Dallas Township Spring Clean-Up Scheduled
Dallas Township wishes to announce its 2024 Spring Clean-up event. Due to budget constraints, this year’s clean-up will be shortened to three days: Thursday, May 9 - Saturday, May 11, 2024. Residents can bring items to the Dallas Township Road Department, located behind the Dallas Township Police Department building at 2919 SR 309 Highway, in Dallas. Operating hours for drop-off will be 8 a.m.-6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday; and 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday. Dallas Township Road Department personnel will be on-hand to assist.
Proof of residency will be required at the time of drop-off. Residents utilizing pick-up trucks and trailers will be charged accordingly, depending on the amount and size of items. Fees will apply for bulk items such as carpets, overstuffed chairs, couches, dressers, mattresses, stoves, washers, dryers, and water heaters, and will be announced at a later date.
Items not accepted will include freezers, refrigerators, television sets, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, hazardous waste, chemicals, brush, tree stumps, cinder blocks, animal or human waste, shingles, sheet rock or other building materials, as well as leaves, grass, garbage, or newspapers.
