I’ve never been so amazed. So overwhelmed and just grateful to be in the presence of God and what he’s capable of doing. We’ve been to Arizona, but never experienced this place. This was so amazingly beautiful I can’t even begin to explain it 🤍 But the emotions and chills that ran through my body let me know I was in the presence of G O D ✨

So, Jayde was making her own breakfast this morning and in the process decided to mention that she has to write sentences… let me just say this. You’ll never see us get on the internet and bash/embarrass our kids about their behavior or anything for that matter. I was actually really suprised she decided to share this information 😳🤣 however, i thought it was dope that she wanted to share and not only that but share what shes learned from it. Kids are a work in progress the same way we as adults are. Their lessons just look different from the Ones we have. So she was having a bit of trouble at school listening. We decided to take everything away and make her earn it back. Sometimes unknowingly our kids become entitled because they get everything they want and I think its important for dad and I to remind them. These things you love are not NECESSITIES. A bed to sleep in is…. Food in your belly is. So while we dont mind spoiling them with the things they love, we have to also teach them along the way that it is a PRIVILEGE, and one thing we dont bend on with them is education. You go to school for one reason only. So shes slowly but surely earning her things back. We dont expect perfection at all. But we do require effort and respect, and your teacher calling home is a reflection on how we’re doing as parents and ya’ll knowwwww we dont play. 🤎🤣

Just another water safety post, leave a couple suggestions if you have any 💙My Sugar officially starts Swim lessons tomorrow & I’m excited for her to learn from a professional but also from mom and dad! ✨ for ME, teaching my kiddos to swim early on eliminates that FEAR of the water that can cause panic should they ever find themselves in a scary situation ✨ they’ve built up their confidence ✨ they’ve learned methods on how to save themselves (so Kali knows if she falls in to immediately flip over on her back and float & also how to tread water). ✨ wearing bright neon like swimsuits so their easy to spot at all times. Obviously this can still be challenging in lakes where the water is darker but we try to avoid BLUE & WHITE #watersafety #infantswim #drowningprevention

Father’s Day recap in AZ! We spent a weekend at Arizona Grand Resort & Spa to celebrate how amazing my hubby is all year round 🙌🏽 Thank you so much for hosting us! we couldn’t have spent it in a better place! We had a villa that felt like home with a full kitchen, living room bed and bath! The resort is huge so but you’re able to literally send a text for your every need, like “Transportation” and the resort will send a golf cart to pick you up and take you where you’re needing to go! Restaurants on the resort so you really didn’t need to leave, and we definitely did not! lol The icing on the cake was their huge waterpark “The Oasis” the kids enjoyed it so much we went back to back lol. For those with small children there’s a pool just for them! A huge wave pool, lazy river and huge water slides 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 If you’re in Arizona or visiting you definitely want to check this one off your list as a staycation or vacation!
