In 2010, Australian teenager Sam Ballard was drinking with his friends when they saw a slug crawl across the floor.

Sam’s friends dared him to eat the slug and after some debate he decided it would be funny, so he did.

A few days later Sam became weak and complained of severe pain in his legs.

After visiting the emergency room doctors told him that he had contracted a parasite known as ‘rat lungworm’ from the slug.

Soon after the diagnosis, Sam fell into a coma, where he remained for 420 days.

He woke up paralyzed, unable to eat without a tube or move without intense effort. He required 24-hour care, seven days a week.

He died 8 years later in 2018.

TRAPPED IN GIRLS' HOSTEL🙆‍♂️😂

I once went to visit my babe in the female hostel at the University and we both slept off.

I woke up by 9:32pm and there was serious problem because guys were not allowed in the hostel beyond 9:00pm.

My babe peeped outside and saw girls were already naked. She told me I am finished if I come out.

She suggested that I should wear her clothes and cover my face with a long hair tie and walk out of the hostel like a lady but I was scared cos I was gonna see many naked girls

I told my babe to bring her wig and a wrapper, she brought it and I wore it and covered myself with the wrapper and asked her to tell her roommates when they come in that I was her friend who came to see her and was sick and couldn't go back to my hostel in Annex.

I slept on the bed with my face to the wall. She slept on the bed with me. Her roommates came in gisting, and asked who I was. she repeated what I said.

My babe then asked her roommates to join her go eat. They all agreed except the mama 😭

This fellowship mama said she was OK and didn't want to eat. I felt like dying. So, the other girl said let's go together, so they left.

Next thing I felt was a touch.

The mama touched me and said "Mr Man, you can leave our hostel now. Don't think I'm stupid. I saw your shoe under the bed. I heard when you were snoring like a pig. It's either you come down now and leave or I call the security for you". Brothers and sisters, I came down from the bed and thanked her very well.

She then invited me to their fellowship with a serious threat that I must attend or else she will expose everything 🤣🤣

To cut the long story short, that was how I started playing drums at Fellowship in my school
