Her face when she finally realized it was a prank! 😂❤️ backstory ::: Kay and I just got to Disney and I saw a prank that I knew would be perfect for Kay! I wrote out a fake tsa form that said that her bag had been checked and items were removed! When we got there, I slipped it into her suitcase and waited for her to open it. I was recording her and Ellie’s reaction to the hotel room and she finally opened the bag. When she did she saw the paper that I made. She was immediately so confused! 😂 She went on and on about how she didn’t know why they took her things, and finally she realized it was a prank! I didn’t think she was ever going to get it! 😂 I told her it was a prank and she thought it was funny. So funny that she said I should sleep on the other bed 😅 She ended up coming around though and realizing that it was a funny prank! She never got what the white rod was, it was our tripod! 😅 but she never got it. So excited for our trip to Disney, and am glad I got to start it out with a prank! 😂

Her little voice is SO CUTE! 🥹❤️ backstory ::: Ellie has started to try to figure out how to say words that we say! She hasn’t quite mastered any word specifically yet, but the closest one is “what’s that” which she loves to say and then point at things that she wants to touch. She will also say “touch this” or “touch that” 😂 or something close to that! She is so cute with how she wants to learn about new things! She wants to know how everything feels! ❤️ she is so cute, and I’m glad this is her new favorite game, because it’s so fun to watch her learn and play! 🥹

I’m still shaking 😅 backstory ::: Kay and I were cleaning up the house and I went into the bathroom to put some things away, and noticed something. It was a stick with a smiley face on it! I rushed to Kay and gave it to her. We were so excited but for different reasons… Kay was excited because the test was positive and it’s something that she wasn’t sure was happening yet since having Ellie, because her body has taken a while to recover from being postpartum! So she was so excited to see that this was finally happening. I was excited because I thought that this was a pregnancy test! 😅 I was so shocked because I felt like I had ruined a surprise or walked in on something that kay left behind for me. I was very confused… I ran to kay and gave it to her and it didn’t help my confusion because Kay thought I knew what this stick was for… it took around a minute for me to catch on, and the whole time my heart was going so fast! 😅 I finally realized what it was, and I was a little disappointed… it’s a good thing that this test was a smiley face, but it wasn’t the test I was thinking it was… that’s ok though because in time Kay will be pregnant again! And now we are taking steps in the right direction! ❤️

I can’t tell if Ellie liked it or not when we went to the mirror! 😂🤔 backstory ::: At the end of the week, we head to Disney for the first time! We were going to go in October, but because of inclement weather, we decided to wait! The weather ended up not being that bad, but it was better to be safe than sorry! ❤️ Since we waited, now we won’t be able to see the October decorations but we WILL be able to see the Christmas decorations!! Kay wanted to show me Ellie’s outfit and it was precious!! I can’t wait for her to see Disney for the first time! Though she is young, I still think she will have a really good time seeing all of the characters and lights and decorations! 🥰

Opening the Christmas storage boxes has us feeling so festive! 🥹🎄 backstory ::: Kay wanted to get some egg nog and decorate the tree, so we did just that! I got the ornament boxes out and popped them open and we started taking them out! Kay got emotional looking at Ellie’s first ornaments and thinking about all the memories from last year when Ellie was first born. We went through a few more ornaments and then since it’s Ellie’s first Christmas where she isn’t a newborn, we decided that she should put on the first ornament. She picked the dentistry one and wanted it right in the center of the tree! 😂 we got it put up and now have to take time to put up ALL of the ornaments! 😂

Kay’s face after Ellie tried a bite! 😂😅 backstory ::: Kay was OBSESSED with white bean soup when she was pregnant with Ellie. She ate it every night for a month. She started calling it Ellie bean soup because she said she loved it so much because Ellie must have loved it so much. Well it’s been a year, and it’s finally cold again. Kay decided that she wanted to make it and this time she would let Ellie try it! Kay cooked up the soup and we got Ellie in her seat. She let Ellie try and she was so surprised by her reaction! 😂 we did not expect her to react that way to the soup and now I am curious about how she would react to other cravings that kay had!
