Log Cabin The Walls are Almost Ready.

The temperature sometimes rises to 28 degrees Celsius, and in such heat various insects are very active, which clearly worsen working conditions, but despite certain difficulties, this week I did a lot of work on the building of the log cabin. Moose, deer, foxes and wild boars appear around the site.
To save the harvest, I made a metal mesh fence. Now my vegetables and fruits will be safe.
I also went on a photo hunt for the first time this week. I was able to photograph a lot of wild animals that live near my site.

I Building an Off Grid Log Cabin for Recreation Alone, Ep4 - How to Lift Heavy Logs.

I am continuing to build my own log cabin (on my forest plot), which will later serve as a sauna, shower room and a small room where I can relax, while building my real big house for me and my family. At the beginning of the video, I needed to make a wooden hammer to fasten the timber, after which I started drilling holes to fasten the wall. For this I use a 28mm wood drill bit and a birch wood wedge. To insulate the wall, I use a natural linen insulation.
This week seemed very hot, it was hard to work in such weather. Also, insects are very annoying, so I have to start a fire and keep it going throughout the day . Due to hot weather and drought, vegetables and fruit trees have to be watered twice as often, because of this there is a big shortage of water, because there has been no rain lately either. I have to carry water from the nearest lake, which is 800 meters from my site. I started thinking about digging a well, I think it would be a good idea, because the issue of water supply will be gone forever.
The walls are being built slowly but surely. I had to come up with a mechanism for lifting a log to a log house, since it is becoming increasingly difficult to do it manually. I pulled the cable and installed a winch that allows me to lift the weight up to 1 ton.
This saves a lot of effort and energy, so building walls will become a little easier.

I Beginning Building Walls for my Square Log Cabin - Making Raised Beds.

Finally the time has come when I can start working on my garden. It is difficult to live off the land in the wild forest, but in this episode I tried to make good conditions for vegetables so that they can grow well and bear good fruit. I made raised beds and filled in 20cm of beautiful black soil, which will give the plants the opportunity to deeply root. If this season there will be a lot of vegetables in this garden, then next season I will make this garden several times larger. There are a lot of wild hares and other animals in this forest, so in order to save my garden, in the next video I will make a metal mesh fence.

Making a Brick Oven for My Forest Kitchen Wilderness Off Grid Living, Natural Stone Veneer.

I made a brick oven for my forest kitchen. First, i made a concrete foundation, and after it solidified, I began to make a decorative brick oven, which i purchased in the nearest city. The oven turned out to be incredibly beautiful and comfortable, it seems that the food cooked on it becomes much tastier. Now I can realize all my culinary skills with this stove.
I also installed stone veneer for the Homestead. This is a great idea for those who want to give their home an extra decorative and dramatic look!

Installing a Wood Floor With Insulation for my Little Homestead in the Woods Plumbing for a Sauna.

I recently purchased a large plot in the middle of the forest, where incredible beauty and nature reign. It is necessary to make a lot of work to clean the area from the bushes that have grown throughout the area.

In this episode, I only cleared 40% of the land. Moose often visit my plot (repeatedly noticed their tracks) so in the next episode I will build a high and strong fence to keep wild animals out.

Plot with a total area of 2 hectares. This is a large enough plot of land for the implementation of all plans. Perhaps next year I will start breeding animals here so as not to go to the city often for food, because the nearest city is 30 km away.

Building an Off Grid Log Cabin for Recreation, With Insulated Floor Hunting, Cooking Pheasant.

In this video, I called my friend to my site so that he pulled out with a tractor all the roots that grew in the middle of the site. Now there is a lot of swamp here, which greatly worsens the working conditions, but soon I will sow this place with grass.
I started building my new log cabin, which will serve as a small kitchen, steam room and shower room. Also this summer, I plan to start building my large log house for permanent residence.

In this video, I made concrete pillars that will be a strong support for the future house, I also made the first part of the floor, in the next episode I will start with the insulation of the floor and sewerage.

March is a great time for wildlife photography. I set a lot of camera traps far in the forest, so I hope they took a lot of interesting shots that I will share with you in my next videos.

2 Months of building a Large Log Shed from start to finish by my hand tools.

It's been 2 months since I started building my big log shed and exactly 5 months since I came to this site to build my own timber farm. When I was 20 years old, I decided and took the courage to start with this huge build by myself. There is still a long way to go to turn the vision into reality. The construction of this barn was the beginning of a great development of my farm. I have come a long way, working in every weather imaginable, seeing many amazing sunsets and incredible wildlife, and overcoming every obstacle along the way. I have documented most of my work and will continue to do so as it inspires me and I hope my videos inspire you.
After this episode, I plan to move on to two new projects for a couple of months, which are also very important.
Now our temperature has risen to +8 degrees Celsius, this is a good moment to start pouring concrete into the foundation, since positive temperatures are needed for concrete to harden. You can learn more about your plans in my new videos.

Me dieval door making in the wild forest.

I made and installed large doors on the left side of the barn, this door is needed in order to have a direct entrance to the middle of the barn, as here I plan to put a sawmill to cut boards for my log house. Also, before severe frosts, I plan to fill the foundation for my bathhouse and dig a well for a constant supply of water.

How to install large metal roof.

I continue to build my big shed for my farm near the forest. Suddenly, a lot of snow fell, which surprised me a lot, since in my area snow does not fall faster than January, but this did not prevent me from installing the first roofing sheets. Early snow will mean that this winter will be harsh, so you need to prepare carefully. Tomorrow I will start sewing up the side walls of the barn with boards, this will prevent snow from getting inside, I will also try to install a potbelly stove in the middle of the barn, since this winter I will spend a lot of my time here. Preparing the site for Building A log Cabin in the wild foresst.

Hi everyone.This is the second series about working on my site in the middle of the forest.

At the beginning of the video, I was harvesting in my forest garden near my log cabin. I collected 10 small cucumbers, which is a good result, since little sun got there. On the second day, I continued to work on my forest plot. I put all the bushes in piles, which I will burn as soon as the snow falls. I also fenced off the first part of the site, where wild animals often come from. This year I plan to have time to fence the entire territory. In the next episode, I will start making the framework for the pitched roof.

I also plan to buy a gasoline or solar generator to generate electricity, as I often have to work with devices that depend on electricity. Therefore, I will be grateful if you tell me in the comments a good and reliable company for the manufacture of generators.

One Year Alone in the Log Cabin Building of the Tiny Home in the Forest.

Life in the forest is very different from life in the city. It is calm in the forest, there are no those problems that haunt the modern world. Sometimes you feel like a part of nature. So I decided to build my house in the middle of a wild forest. This video you can see my life for 1 year.. During this time, I have mastered many skills necessary for survival, including construction skills. Now I'm ready to build something bigger. I have wanted to have a real big cabin in the woods for a long time, so I use all my building skills and start building a big log cabin in the woods.
