If you can’t hear during practice, 9 times out of 10, you and your band are playing too loud. Try turning down a bit when you rehearse because if you can’t hear yourself or your band, you can’t make corrections. (Save turning up to 11 for the show.)
And remember— electronic instruments have master volumes, but drummers are their own volume knob.
