The oldest place on planet Earth is in Venezuela and is called Monte Roraima Monte Roraimo, Venezuela. One of the most beautiful and impressive natural wonders in the world. For more than 500 years, scientists around the world have tried to decipher the unique geological origin of Mount Roraima, southern Venezuela. In addition to rising almost 3,000 meters above sea level, the mountain has an unnatural morphology, which appears to have been cut with knives due to the precision of its million-dollar angles. This rock formation is the largest of its kind in all of South America and is part of the Pakaraima mountain range. For more than 5 centuries it has intrigued historians, geologists and other scientists because it is a mountain without a point. The summit of Mount Roraima is completely horizontal and occupies an area of more than 30 square kilometers, surrounded by waterfalls, cliffs and other rare geographical features in the world. Seen this way, it could be considered an island in the hills. Mount Roraima is home to a wide variety of endemic animal and plant species. Geologists and biologists from around the world estimate that it hides some of the species of which science has no trace, since there are spaces in the mountain that still remain unexplored. Its origin is a mystery. It is believed that Mount Roraima was the product of a large earthquake in the past. However, its origin is uncertain, as similarly created geological features do not have that shape. This has led scientists to think that it may be the oldest rock formation on Earth. Now that's deep! 🤯 The deepest and largest natural well on earth is called Xiaozai Tiankang. It is located in Penji, in the heart of China. This amazing well is completely natural and reaches a depth of 662 meters, a length of 626 meters and a width of 537 meters. But what stands out the most is the explosion of life it inhabits. Xiaozhai Tiankang is what geologists are confused about due to the influence of water. In this case, it was created on top of a cave with an underground river of 8.5 kilometers in size and flowing into a spectacular waterfall. Its enormous size makes it the deepest sinkhole in the world. It houses close to 1,300 species of plants and wild animals. A huge humpback whale suddenly leaped out of the water near a boat, shocking the fishermen on board. The incident took place in the waters off the coast of California, USA. The whale was estimated to be 40 feet long and weighed around 80,000 pounds. The fishermen were amazed by the sight and managed to capture the moment on camera. According to a photographer named Douglas Croft, who captured a humpback whale breaching next to a fishing boat, the memorable moment occurred on April 27th, 2019 in California’s Monterey Bay. Did you know that, humpback whales have a unique feeding technique: Humpback whales use a feeding technique called bubble netting to catch their prey. They blow bubbles in a circular pattern around a school of fish, which creates a “net” of bubbles that traps the fish. This is the mummy of a man, about 1.65 meter tall, who lived during the Ptolemaic period. We call him the mummy of Pacheri, although the reading of the name remains problematic. The quality of the embalming, as well as the state of conservation make it a noticeable mummy and worthy of notice. An aerial view of the remains of Villa Jovis, the residence of Emperor Tiberius, located on the island of Capri, Italy. The site is situated on a cliffside, with a stunning view of the blue Mediterranean Sea. The ruins are surrounded by lush greenery, and the layout of the ancient Roman villa is clearly visible from above. Villa Jovis was the residence of Roman Emperor Tiberius from 27 AD until his death in 37 AD. It is the largest of the twelve villas built by Tiberius on Capri, as mentioned by the historian Tacitus. It features an innovative rainwater collection system, which ensures a reliable water supply despite the challenging location. This system included a network of channels and cisterns to harvest rainwater. Villa Jovis spanned approximately 7,000 square meters and included various rooms such as the emperor’s private quarters, dining rooms, and a bath complex. The property also had an astronomical observatory, (Tiberius was profoundly interested in celestial events). The site is associated with numerous historical anecdotes and scandalous tales, often recorded by ancient historians like Suetonius. These accounts describe the villa as a place of luxury and debauchery, adding to its historical intrigue.

April, 1985, 50,000 feet over the Irish Sea, this is the only picture ever taken of a Concorde flying over Mach 2. The photo itself was taken by Adrian Meredith, a prestigious British photographer, from a Panavia Tornado, a British fighter of the Royal Air Force.
