What motivates you to succeed in life and keep moving? 💜
In this video, Kid Cudi talks about belief and fear of failure. He deliver an emotional speech to his former high school in 2015. He kept the talk to his life and implored the students in attendance to accept life's curveballs.
"It’s scary, but if you believe and if you want it, and if you want to work hard enough for it, it can be so. Cause there’s no difference from me and you. I just really wanted this sh-t. I wanted it bad. And I didn’t want to be a failure. And nobody’s a failure in this room. Don’t ever think that. We can all win.”
Kid Cudi is a rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor. He has widely been recognized as an influence on several contemporary hip hop and alternative acts. His lyrics are often autobiographical and describe his childhood hardships of depression, loneliness, and alienation, his struggle with alcohol and drugs into adulthood, as well as themes of heartbreak, dissipation, and celebration.

How do you deal with haters? 🤔
In this video, Logic talks about mentality while dealing with negativity. You’ll often hear the rapper Logic refer to the issues of anxiety, suicide, and mental health as “taboo”. Frequently, he annotates his interviews with mention of how mainstream media and society at large seeks to shy away from these important, life-changing, potentially life-saving topics of conversation.
In 2017, the name Logic became nationwide after the rapper, whose real name is Sir Robert Bryson Hall II, debuted his third album Everybody at number one on the US Billboard 200 list. Including songs about mental health, Logic has broken shame, stigma, and stereotype like few artists before him as he has broken important records.

In this video, T-Pain talks about asking other artists for advice. 💜💥 Do you agree with him? 🤔
Well, any hip-hop fan who has gone clubbing in the 2000s definitely fell under the spell of the T-Pain effect. He earned his stripes as a pioneer, with his crystallized voice that’s equal parts smooth like a crooner and stiff like a robot by way of Auto-Tune.
Throughout his career as a singer, T-Pain popularized the creative use of the Auto-Tune pitch correction effect, used with extreme parameter settings to create distinctive vocal sounds. His success with the effect has influenced several other major artists to adopt it as well, namely Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Future, and Travis Scott, among others.

Have you experienced depression too? What were your symptoms? 💪
In this video, rapper Big Sean talks about his experience with depression. When he went public in 2019 with his struggles with depression, which he’d been dealing with, along with anxiety, since he was a teenager, he hadn’t intended to become an advocate for mental health awareness. He was simply tired of portraying that everything in his life was great when it wasn’t.
His revelation, as a major star in hip-hop, was a brave one, though. It helped spark conversations about how people cope when it comes to their mental health, particularly Black men. Now he’s taking things a step further in the hopes of helping everyone better deal with mental illness, and he’s doing so with help from his mom, educator Myra Anderson.
The two are teaming up for a video series through his nonprofit, the Sean Anderson Foundation, which supports underserved youth and their families. Both Sean and his mom are looking to provide affordable, accessible support to people, particularly after the pandemic impacted the mental health of so many.

What can you say about Dr Dre's performance during the recent historic halftime show? 💥
Well, Questlove took to Twitter on Monday (February 14) to admit he missed Eminem taking the knee because of how surprised he was about Dr. Dre playing the piano.
“𝘐𝘮𝘮𝘢 𝘣𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘵,” 𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥. “𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘴𝘰 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘋𝘳. 𝘋𝘳𝘦 𝘬𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘢 𝘱𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘰—𝘐 𝘵𝘰𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘌𝘮 𝘬𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨.”
The N.W.A legend stepped up to the grand piano to play a few notes from 2Pac’s Daz Dillinger-produced “I Ain’t Mad at Cha” (which samples DeBarge’s “A Dream”), before getting into his classic “Still D.R.E.”

Have you gone wild with Eminem's Super Bowl halftime performance as well? ☺💥💜
Well, like most Hip Hop fans, Britney Spears only wanted the West Coast rap celebration to go longer than the brief halftime stint during Super Bowl LVI. Sunday’s (February 13) entertaining showcase brought the inner-child out of the pop star as Eminem’s performance made her “feel 17 again.”
Britney Spears on Instagram: “Wow !!! Eminem last night at the Super Bowl … he should have had way more time,. He was everything to me when I was younger and it was so weird in the first two seconds I saw him on stage last night I felt like I was 17 again !!! It’s honestly kinda scary how certain artists and music can do that … we are so lucky to live in a world where music can give us hope … identity … acceptance …and love.”
Eminem hit the stage taking a knee in support of embattled former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick and then performed his 2002 hit single “Lose Yourself” after Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg kicked off the show.

Have you ever been subjected to body shaming too? 🤔😶
Well, 50 Cent being fat-shamed has been a popular Twitter topic for over 24 hours. He made a surprise appearance during the Super Bowl LVI Pepsi Halftime Show on Sunday night (February 13) as the Los Angeles Rams took on the Cincinnati Bengals.
For his portion of the roughly 12-minute performance, 50 Cent spit a few bars from his 2003 mega-hit “In Da Club.” As he hung upside down rapping his verses, people thought the Power mogul appeared to have put on a few pounds.
Wearing a white tank top and black pants, 50 Cent blazed through his set with ease. Even so, Twitter instantly started to pick apart his appearance, despite the 46-year-old rap legend looking relatively fit. True, he’s not the cut 28-year-old featured on the Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ album cover, but nobody looks like they did almost 20 years ago.
Any thoughts? Drop them in the comments! 🤔
