Stop what you are doing! I got a tip on a new Reese's and sure enough, it was right! Take a look at Spring Sprinkles Big Cup. I grabbed at Sheetz after work today.

I cannot believe this is real, but it is! I love it because the “sprinkles” are crunchy candies and the amount of peanut butter is just right!

Jacks Pizza and Bar may look familiar to you. We visited when they first opened and we're just getting their feet wet. We were invited back to see how things have changed and to check out their full bar and wing menu!

Jacks is located in Brimfield with the address being 3975 Cascades Blvd, Kent. Is it Kent? Is it Brimfield? I don't really care. All I know is that it's freaking spectacular.

These folks aren't traditional pizza folks. They didn't grow up in a restaurant and have recipes handed down from generation to generation. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but Jacks is a different animal. They cold ferment their dough, hand toss every pie and make the most delicious calzone you'll find anywhere.

But we were here for something special. Their new Sicilian Style Pizza and Wings.

Traditionally, a Sicilian pizza is a square pie that usually has an airy, pillowy interior with a crunchy base and is cheese only. Jacks take on the classic is a little different. The crunch of the crust is there, the flavors of the sauce and seasonings is there but it's just not pillowy enough for me to call it a Sicilian. I mentioned this to the owner and he agreed, as it's still a work in progress. (The pie isn't on the menu yet) I honestly enjoyed the pepperoni and the Italian seasoning on top as well as their delicious sauce that I already am a fan of. But in order to call this thing a true Sicilian, it needs to be fluffier inside for me.

Now for the wings, we tried two flavors. Buffalo Ranch and Old Bay dry rub. The wings are cooked perfectly and are insanely juicy. There are lots of flavors you can choose from but I was not expecting to fall in love with the old bay as much as I did. Incredible crunch, addicting saltiness and that umami flavor that makes you want to order another round. The Buffalo Ranch were delicious as well, but the old bay was a stand out.

Jacks is doing things right. They are putting in the hard work, trying new things and not getting discouraged when something doesn't work. They are innovative (Big Mac Pizza) and they are incredibly kind.

If you haven't yet, make sure to check them out soon. They have dining inside, they offer carryout and they are on some delivery apps. The bar inside is fully stocked and the interior is very clean and welcoming. Plus you can watch them make your pizza right there!!

Today, I was invited to check out the newly opened Scooter's Coffee located at 910 E Market St in Akron.

Scooters describes themselves as a "Drive-thru chain serving espresso & other coffee drinks, plus a variety of smoothies & pastries". The building design fits perfect for this high traffic area being that it's a quick drive thru only building.

Right now they have a partnership with Hasbro Games and feature lots of Candy Land themed drinks and treats. The branding is bright and fun and each drink comes with a fun emoji style sticker placed on it. I especially enjoyed hearing "Scoot on Around" after I placed my order.

Speaking of my order, let's get into that shall we?

First off we have the Iceberg Ignite RedBull Infusion. This iced beverage takes the winter edition Redbull, adds vanilla syrup and sweet vanilla cold foam and blue ice crystals. If you're a fan of the Winter RedBull ( Iced Vanilla Berry) then you will love this. The added vanilla syrup really brings out the vanilla notes in the Redbull that I thought was missing. Plus it's a really beautiful drink.

Next we tried the Mr Mint Mocha. I'm usually a big fan of Peppermint Mocha and it's often the only hot beverage I'll order. I think this one surprised me the most. It wasn't chalky like some mochas can be. The peppermint wasn't overpowering and you could still taste the coffee itself. It was a really well balanced hot beverage.

Next up was the Queen Frostine Sugar Cookie Latte. This is espresso, white mocha, and sugar cookie flavors. Again, the coffee flavor of the espresso is upfront and is the dominant flavor while the sugar cookie notes are complimentary. It's another well balanced beverage that surprised me.

For food we ordered the Maple Waffle Sandwich. The waffle was sweet, but not too sweet which was nice. The sausage, egg and cheese all tasted great together and there was no "warmed up in the oven" flavor. I have no doubt they warm these up in an oven, but sometimes all you taste is the oven... And this tasted fresh.

Next up was the Sugar Cookie. I took one bite, and then immediately put it down. I had to make sure I took my time before I said something crazy. I took another bite. Then I was sure. This was in fact the best sugar cookie I've had all year, and maybe the top 5 best sugar cookies I've ever had. I would not lie to you. This thing was soft, buttery, delicate and just sweet enough to allow you to eat the whole thing without feeling sick. It's a masterpiece and is a must have.

The King Candy cake pop was a really fun treat. It's much larger and denser than your average cake pop. The inside tastes just like fruity pebbles with a few pieces of nerds and popping candy. It's a lot of fun, but very sweet and very dense. I would recommend sharing with someone.

Lastly we tried the tomato and feta egg bites. I was impressed with the size of these since they are significantly larger than egg bites at other coffee shops. The taste was fairly average, nothing too spectacular but it is a nice option for a quick snack.

Overall I was incredibly impressed with Scooters. The coffee based beverages really shined and the amount of different redbull options they have is going to make it one of my go to spots.
