The Arts & Heritage Council will offer a two-day memoir-writing workshop led by award-winning memoirist and writing coach Kelly J. Beard on June 19–20 at the Customs House Museum & Cultural Center.

Participants will explore storytelling, manuscript development, critique, and the art of writing with humor, drama, and elegance.

June 19 | 10 AM–5 PM
June 20 | 10 AM–3 PM

$100 Arts & Heritage members | $125 non-members

Oak Grove Racing continues to gain national and international attention.

Allegiant, who began her career with two wins at Oak Grove, made history Sunday at Solvalla Racecourse in Sweden, trotting the fastest mile ever recorded in harness racing history at 1:48.

Oak Grove also continues to see strong growth, with handle up 26.4% year over year through 11 weeks of racing.

Live harness racing continues Mondays and Tuesdays at 1:10 p.m. CDT.
