On the 11th day of Christmas, Chocolate — our LONGEST-staying dog — finally got adopted. 🎄❤️🥹

We’d hoped and prayed this day would come, and today it did. A true Christmas miracle.

His future dad came to meet him, left to think it over… and then saw yesterday’s post about Chocolate’s Check Me Out adventure with one of our volunteers. Something in that video made him turn around and come back. And in a very emotional adoption, Chocolate finally walked out of this shelter for good. 😭

Home for the holidays. After everything… he got his miracle. 🤍
