Let’s get visible! I typically don’t post myself in the feed, but why not? Here is a shot from the last wedding weekend.
I feel and notice many changes in the wedding industry. Fast project turnaround times have come to the forefront, and while I’m still tackling the backlog from 2023, I’m also figuring out how to work efficiently and as quickly as possible. It’s especially noticeable now that there is a growing misunderstanding between artists and clients about what each needs. While the artist spends time capturing every possible detail on the wedding day and then hours on editing, the client says that all of this is unnecessary and wants it to be quick and as natural as possible. I’m learning and adapting to these changes.
In my observations, long takes in videos are currently trending, and the editing is not as dynamic and fast-paced as it used to be. I might be wrong. What do you think? Which style do you prefer - dynamic or smooth?
P.S. I have added a new package to my collections - home video style. It’s inexpensive, with minimal editing but confident filming. I find it interesting myself. Let’s see how clients react.
