Named for twin daughters, TwinStar was created by Russell Werdin following a lifelong passion for storytelling and filmmaking. The company internally creates original and book-adapted true or fiction stories in drama, action, comedy, youth, and fantasy genres. TwinStar, founded in 2003, hired producer/director Lane Bishop in 2006 and opened offices at FOX Plaza, Century City. During a three-year p

eriod, the company created working relationships with ABC-Disney Channel, Lifetime, Dune Entertainment, and Broken Road Productions and earned film option rights to a Sandra Brown New York Times Best Seller, “Witness.”

The company accepts co-producing partnerships and continues to create stories for film, SVOD, and television markets.
