Venice music has resumed pitching tracks to a production company currently working on multiple Netflix projects. Top tracks will be considered for usage in client's Netflix productions as well as other projects within their control (TV/Film/Commercial). Music directors/catalog managers are reviewing tracks from independent artists/publishers and composers who have commercial-ready music for the following scenarios and moods (may include period pieces):

- Outdoor Adventure/Action (All Applicable Genres)
- Suspense/Tension (All Applicable Genres)
- Party Scenes (EDM/Dance/Pop/Urban/Rap)
- Romance (Indie Rock/Americana/Folk/Singer-Songwriter and Ironic Throwback Classic Rock)
- Opening & Ending Credits (Contemporary Top-40 Style and Modern Instrumentals)

TOTAL AMOUNT OF TRACKS TO PITCH: 30-45

GENRES ACCEPTED:
Not genre specific. Tracks need to fit the emotional qualities given above. Orchestral/Classical, Country, Singer-Songwriter, Rock, Metal, Alternative, Indie Rock, EDM/Dance, Hip-Hop, Rap, Instrumentals, World Music/Cinematic, Industrial and Cross-Genre music welcome. Music must have a unique sound, energy, emotion and be appropriate for the requested moods. Music directors are seeking something fresh and bold.

SUBMISSION CRITERIA:
- Tracks must be well-produced, professional, and ready for inclusion in television programming.
- Tracks must be appropriate for the content that it will be supporting.
- Artists must own all copyrights. No uncleared samples, covers, or re-titled tracks.

COMPENSATION:
Final usage rate will be decided by Production company, dictated by duration of track usage, placement in the production and act/artist draw (MFN applies). All details will be negotiated and mutually agreed upon by copyright owners in writing once final tracks are approved. No transfer of assets will occur.

Artist and/or label and publisher retain all ownership and receive compensation directly via the Production Company. Details, deal memos, terms and conditions will be provided to those who make the final cut.

NOTE: Even if you are not selected for this opportunity, you may be considered for future licensing.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
- A streaming link of your song (for producers to stream). No file-delivery or FTP.
- WAV file/MP3 and metadata (once reviewed and selected for broadcast).

April royalty earnings just hit. It was another solid month across most of the DSP's. However, there were some dips in revenue with Spotify. Artists are starting to feel that $100 million that was allocated elsewhere in a new policy. Major labels are getting more.
You, the artist, are unfortunately getting even less of the royalty pot as we disclosed a few months ago.
YouTube is opening new creator programs. If you got a following already there then you could be eligible for a bigger payout. Keep your eyes open for that announcement coming soon.
Soundcloud still going STRONG with their new payout program. They are desperate to lure artists back. If you are in that "niche" I would highly suggest checking into how you can apply and get accepted into that. It's paying better and consistently unlike Tidal.
TikTok is slowly being phased out in this industry. The transition is happening for artists. Not seeing the need or demand to get exposure on TikTok as much. The hype has faded. If you're over 25 and unknown it's a true struggle to get their algorithm to pick up on your content. Spotify, YouTube, and Instagram are still king and most crucial in this business.
