So, what did everyone think about the eclipse today? Did you all find glasses? I ended up getting them around 1 pm, from the CP library, so I made it home with time to spare! Then I ate some lunch, and it was show time! Not as exciting as any of us hoped, right? 😂 It was cool to see it, for sure. Like any really cool, natural things, that happen though, it was over in a matter of 30 minutes, tops. To me, I think the strange, gray color, of everything around us, during the diminished sun, was pretty neat! It never went fully dark, just a weird gray, like before a tornado. All in all, still a pretty amazing event, when you consider what was really going on up there! Hope you guys, and dolls, have a great evening, and watch some TV in your drawers, together! 😂

So, I did a thing ........I modified, and rebuilt my parents Trac-Vac, for vacuuming up the leaves, behind the tractor. 😆
I dumped the original Briggs & Stratton, 5hp engine, which was becoming a pain for my parents to use. I found this modified, Predator go-kart engine, from Harbor Freight Tools, boosted to 6.6hp, for about $200 on sale last summer. I had no idea, of the fight, that I was in for! Just to get the stupid impeller wheel off, of the original engine's crankshaft, took almost a day! Thank God for my Fire Wrench(torch)!!! Once I got it all apart, it was pretty much a breeze, with minor filing of the bolt holes into slots, to adjust where it sat, and keep the dump lever from banging, or vibrating against the gas tank. The impeller wheel, and housing were a little bit banged up, so a couple hours of heating, and beating, were in order. Once that was done, Dad took over with cleaning up, and repainting everything, before I reinstalled the vacuum housing, and the impeller wheel inside of it. Now, I just have to add oil, and gas, to the new engine, and fire it up! Too bad the weather is still crap! 😂 I sure hope that changes pretty soon! I have more small projects like this to do, plus my HUGE project, "The Doomsday Rig" , which I will be unveiling very, VERY soon, along with launching my new website, and socials to support it, and my subsequent journey with it, once it's all finished! Just wait! It's gonna get really, REALLY interesting around here, FAST!! Just a teaser, of one modification to be done, will be the solar power supply system, and lithium batteries, that I will be installing, into my 1988 32ft travel trailer style camper, which I will eventually pull with, a retired turbo diesel ambulance, once I am ready for it, and the trailer is mostly done. If you like seeing cool stuff, and seeing smartass people, do smart-assed things, then keep an eye out! I'm just the smartass, to do those cool things! 😆😎😆😎 Hope you all have a super swell day!! If you are someone who prays, please join me in sending prayers to my friend Marvin, who lives in a terribly impoverished area of Africa, where he does his best to help all of the unwanted, or abandoned children, some also sick when they arrive, and now, he has a stomach disorder, that has him in the hospital today, in a lot of pain! So, I am trying to rally God's Warriors of Prayer, and send some healing energy to Marvin! I personally thank any of you who will join me, in sending some hope overseas, and getting a good man back to his feet, to do more of God's work, with these poor children. I pray that God blesses us all, with His exceedingly abundant blessings, peace, and joy, that can never be taken away! Amen!! I love all of you, and I hope that everyone is doing great out there in Facebookland! 😆

So, I finished the Trac-Vac project yesterday, adding the new predator go-kart engine, making a custom exhaust, and refreshing the old parts with new paint. Now, I just need to add oil, and gas, then start it for the first time! Mom, and Dad are excited to use it, with an additional 1.6 HP , so it's now a 6.6hp, and I also sealed the vacuum box even better, so we will see! Fingers crossed! 🍀
