I wanted to do a very special vlog on our local state park. I think sometimes we (I) can take things we have always had for granted. Travel isn't always possible, but almost every town has something unique and special that should be explored. We saw many beautiful parks and places on our travels but this one has my heart. I know we all get frustrated about some things we wish our town had but it also offers so much. Our videos have always been about just making the most out of every moment, wherever you are or what you are doing. Our lives are all busy and circumstances can change in a heartbeat for better or worse. Spend time with your family laugh more, forgive, stop arguing and take something off of your to do list and just find a special place to be together. We filmed this back in October when the leaves were gorgeous, it was fun getting to share a little about our beautiful park. Please feel free to share with others looking for a place to enjoy. Click video link to watch. We had no clue how gorgeous the Oregon and Washington coasts were. I feel like they are not hyped up as much as they should be. We loved driving right on the beaches and even seeing some horses out there. We attempted riding down a sand dune. Ha!!! The tide pools are so cool and who doesn't love a beautiful lighthouse. It's hard to believe we have posted 33 videos over the last 7 months or so and many more to come. I have organized a playlist on our YouTube channel by State. We also have a few listed under RV TOURS. Just go to the icon titled playlist and they will all be listed on our main channel page.
If you are planning a visit to a particular area out West this summer or in the near future some of these videos might give you an idea of some things to see and do. We are by no means professional videographers or experts on travel and we don't really know if y'all enjoy seeing these types of videos but we try to highlight beautiful places we have seen on our adventures. Feel free to reach out with additional questions on certain campgrounds in an area or if you want more info on how we have saved money on campgrounds by using Thousand Trails. One word to describe the Redwoods.
"Magical" I believe we would consider this our favorite exploring spot. You get the forest and the beach all in one location. San Francisco is one of our favorite cities and the vibe was so much fun. The only thing I knew about Santa Barbara before visiting was that there used to be a soap opera named after it. 😆 We have now decided it is one of the most beautiful places in Southern California and they have the best Canjun Shrimp boil we have ever had.
