Did you know that according to cancer.org site 609, 000 Americans will die from Cancer this year . 1 in 3 men and 1 in 5 women will have cancer by age 60 . That’s my age!!!It is the second most common cause of death.
Here’s the REAL shocker!

The EPA has a list of top 10 most toxic cleaners in your home . 🤢🤢🤢Known to be linked to cancer , reproductive problems and biological mutations.
These are allowed in the US even though they have been banned in other countries. 😡😡

Only 5% of cancers are hereditary, 95 % environmental!! 😲😲😲 I couldn’t believe it!!
I googled it!! American Cancer Society. Yep ! True!

I am not making this stuff up. Google it . There are pages straight from EPA website .

No one else is the gate keeper of your home!!
You get to choose what comes in and what you put on your body.
We deal with things that are common and we have been brainwashed into thinking these things are normal. Things that generations before us did not deal with.

A family tradition, rounding the cows for sale! My dad would probably be the only real cowboy in the bunch. I grew up rounding them on horse back in thicket so thick you couldn’t see through it. We do it differently these days! A few things I learned that apply to Life
1. Dont look for a trail make a new one, for the next person who comes along.
2. If you fall off get back on. Even if you are scared. Don’t let fear win.
3. If you get lost stop and listen for the call or sound of the dogs and go in that direction.
4. Lean in so you don’t get knocked off the horse.
Work hard and stay true to your values!

Good morning and Happy Sunday from very wet Southeast Texas.
It’s was a long hot August and not much rain.
Well September is making up for it !
In case you haven’t heard the area we are in has been declared a disaster area.
Thankfully our house did not flood.
We did have a lightening strike but the torrential rains put out any sparks .
It’s a busy time of the year to get things done before days get shorter.
We took 8 cows and calves to the sale last weekend.
We have some wild ones we haven’t been able to pen.

I love a freshly mowed pasture and sitting on the porch during or after a rain. We have 4 pastures we rotate our cows through and after they eat it down we mow to keep weeds down so the low growing clover can get sun and rain. This is our front pasture looking out from my porch.

Several years ago this page was create for a chapter of Farmgirl Sisterhood,an organization founded by Maryjane Butters who is an organic farmer in Idaho. It was from this organization and her magazine that I started to have knowledge of the chemicals in food and cleaning products.I began to ditch the toxins and eat organic. The chapter has dissolved and recently my toxin free life took another turn when I discovered Young Living Pure Essential Oils and products. I love this company because I immediately connected with the founders love for farming and conserving the land and the healing power in the oils of plants. This page has sat dormant for some time.
