🌠✨Breaking News! 🌕 Moon, meet your new mini-me! Asteroid 2024 PT₅ is Earth's temporary "mini-moon" satellite from Sept 29 to Nov 25. The small object is part of the Arjuna asteroid belt. Don't get too attached, it's just a 2-month fling before it zooms off into space again. It will return for a goodbye wave on Jan 9, 2025, and mark your calendars for Nov 8, 2055 – this space rock will be back! While it won't be visible for most amateur telescopes, professional astronomers will be able to catch images of our temporary "mini moon" for us! Ooof! It’s been too long since we’ve done an event, I apologize it’s taken so long! But, this fall we will be fitting in one a month. Days will vary so if you can’t make this one, there will be more!! I’ll be posting next month’s shortly.

However, September’s Autumn Night Event will be September 26th, & it’s going to be awesome!!!

We have a flea market this Saturday, September 14th that runs from 8-3. Come check all the local vendors. There will be live chainsaw demonstrations. Then October 12th will be our last one for the season!
