Wednesday word: Don’t ever get discouraged when the plans you have don’t turn out the way you expected them to. Sometimes God has to wreck your plans because He sees your plans are about to wreck you. Keep following God. He will show you the path to take and it will be better than the path you chose.

Tuesday truth: Judas kissed Jesus then betrayed him. Just because someone acts like they adore you, doesn’t mean they can’t be used by the devil to hurt you. Jesus knew who would betray him because He’s Jesus. But get this; the same power that is in Jesus is in us, so if we allow the Holy Spirit to guide us, we too can be discerning enough to know when someone close to us is going to betray us. That story ended great for Jesus with his death providing salvation for generations to come. That wasn’t the case for Judas. Judas was so distraught about having betrayed Jesus that he killed himself. The same thing that happened over 2,000 years ago is still happening today. There’s nothing new under the sun. Be discerning.

Thursday truth: What happens when you get ghosted by someone? We don’t need to worry when people we thought we had wonderful relationships instantly leave our lives with no contact whatsoever. Don’t chase after that ghost. We need to respect the dead. Remember also that their rejection is God’s protection. They didn’t leave you. God took them out your life.Shake the dust off and keep it moving! 🙌🏾🙏🏾💃🏾

Wednesday Word: If we slow down and take the time to notice things, God is constantly trying to show us what He wants us to see. I was heading into the laundry room and saw something that stopped me in my tracks and caused me to tear up. I will be forever grateful for seeing Joel’s work boots in the house. There was a night where he almost would not have needed work boots again. God has a way of reminding us of His goodness.

Tuesday truth: I have preached this in a sermon and I have posted this before on my page. The Holy Spirit brought this back to my remembrance because of a situation I watched unfold last night. “ When the devil wants to try to cause a Christ Follower to fall he doesn’t send a pack of sinners. He sends a group of offended Christians. Your carnal response will be to fight back. The weapons of spiritual warfare cannot be carnal because the enemy we fight is not flesh and blood. Remember that Judas was close to Jesus, yet was still influenced by the devil to betray him. Just as 1 Peter 5:8 says, the devil prowls about like a roaring lion seeking who he may devour. Don’t you dare think that anyone is immune to being used by the devil and dismiss an attack. When you see the attack, don’t wait. Fight back, but fight back in the best way; on your knees!”

Sunday subject: This world will never be a perfect place, but thank God I serve a perfect God! Today I pray for former President Trump, his family and the families of the person killed and the others injured as well as the family of the killed shooter. Yes even the family of the shooter. What I understand as a faithful Follower of Christ is that God loves all of those people regardless of their sins just like He loves me regardless of mine. If there are people celebrating or happy about an assassination attempt on Trump, there is something wrong in your heart.

Our series on ministry outside the church continues today with me interviewing Joel, when he didn’t realize I would be interviewing him. 🫢He’s been in radio ministry alot longer than me, so I figured, why not interview him. I used to listen to Joel’s radio show before I even met him. He says I might have been a stalker. 🤣The interesting thing is that I did not have to go looking for Joel to meet him.
