WZYX the Eagle cares about our community and all the people, pets and businesses in it! We already have several fundraisers and community benefit programs in place and many more in the making. Our free community Easter Egg hunt held at Wi******er City Park is in it's 5th year. We have over 10,000 easter eggs filled with candy, coins and free food coupons. We also give away tons of toys and bicycle

s to the children that attend thanks to generous donations from most of the businesses in our area! We took over the Wi******er City Park on Halloween and gave away tons of great prizes to everyone who donated can goods to the Good Samaritan. We collected a truck load of non perishable food, the Rain Teen Center sold concessions to raise money for their very important youth ministry, and all the ticket proceeds went to benefit the Campora Christmas Angels. It was a huge success for our first year! We donate countless hours to promoting various organizations and events that help our community. We are always looking for ways to serve more! She's 79, 5'4" tall, 120 lbs., with gray hair & brown eyes. She was last seen on June 7th near the area of Walnut Grove Road.

Mitchell was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants, and black shoes.

She has a medical condition that may impair her ability to return safely without assistance.

Come Celebrate our Tennessee Baseball College World Series Champs!

Put on your orange and head downtown Tuesday night for a parade and celebration.

The parade will step off from the Gay Street Bridge around 6:30 and march down Gay Street to Wall Avenue.

Immediately following the parade, there will be a citywide celebration in Market Square.

Please be advised of the following road closures:

Wall Ave between Gay & Walnut will be closed 5-10pm
Market Street between Clinch & Union will be closed 5-10pm
Union Ave between Gay & Walnut will be closed 5-10pm

Gay Street Bridge between Hill Ave and Sevier Ave will close at 5:30pm
Gay Street between Main St and Summit Hill will close at 6pm
Parade will start at 6:20pm
Gay Street will reopen by 7pm

The Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission has just approved a new night hunting season for coyotes and bobcats. Starting this year, you can hunt these nocturnal predators on private land, given you have a valid hunting license and written landowner permission.

🦊 **Season Dates**:
- **First Season**: Day after deer season ends through the second Sunday in March.
- **Second Season**: First Saturday in June through the second Sunday in August.

🌌 **Hunting Hours**: 30 minutes after sunset to 30 minutes before sunrise.

🐱 **Bag Limits**:
- Bobcats: One per night (separate from the daytime limit).
- Coyotes: No limit.

πŸ”« **Equipment**:
- Shotguns only (no single projectiles).
- Night vision and thermal imaging equipment allowed.
- Lights are permitted but not from mechanized vehicles or public roads.
- Calls: Hand, mouth-operated, and electronic calls mimicking wounded prey or coyote sounds.

🚫 **Restrictions**: No hunting with dogs during the night season.
