We’re jumping back into our moving image collection for this week’s with this 1920s silent clip showcasing the newly developed and improved Coney Island.

In the clip, you see passengers on the Island Queen cruising down the river, embarking into Coney Island. The full clip also shows parking issues at the time and is an interesting insight into early transportation (and its issues) in the city!

As part of our celebration this month, we’re hosting a FREE Mini-Film Festival in the historic Newsreel Theater on Saturday, October 26 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Featured selections will include moving image clips from our Collections of the Melody Showcase, Midwestern Hayride, Soul Street and more. Many of the clips have not been viewed since their original showcase and most are being shared publicly for the first time in decades!

Fueled by late-night/early morning Waffle House runs, the PPS team of Connor Smith, Nathan Bremer and Zach Cieslak had a blast processing the dailies for “Turtles All the Way Down”. These gents showcased their multimedia mastery during their foray into the glamour of Hollywood, especially at 3am. Cheers to hashbrowns all the way down, syrupy goodness and movie magic! 🧇🐢✨🎥🍿

Pi(e) Day 2024

We would've posted this sooner but we were napping. Happy Pi(e) day!

Every 10 years or so, we take a look in the mirror and realize it’s time to freshen things up a bit. This time we wanted to take our over 3 decades of work and look at things a bit differently. We wanted a new look for our brand that represented the way we saw things, the way we bring things to life. We tell stories through video. That might be the most simplified way to explain the amazingly beautiful, complex, creative, and ever-changing environment we work in. We want our new brand to represent all of that. We want it to tell a story that spans across all the mediums, and helps bring your story to life in a way you truly didn’t think possible. We want to give you a new perspective…our perspective - it’s all how you frame it. #production #productioncompany #postproduction #ppsproductions

We almost forgot about this gem that we produced with our creative friends at Fahlgren/Mortine for the Ohio Lottery. That's what happens when you produce a holiday campaign in October.
