A few frames from our most recent film for Ingrid & Adam ✨ We spent three days in the desert this fall with these adventurous dream boats and loved every minute capturing them kick the dust up in their , twirl under the moonlight to the OG country legends at the & get married perched above the palms with their people & sweet pup June (who joined them all the way from their home in Seattle!). We can’t wait to share their film with you soon! 🏍☠️🍾

“I loved growing up with you and I look forward to growing old with you– reflecting back on a life we built together, and that we lived hard.” – from Henry’s vows to Phoebe 🥺

There is so much to say about these two & this wedding weekend (honestly still processing the bubble of joy we were invited into)– but let us just start by saying that there is something so different about this year’s celebrations. It has been so evident that we (collectively) no longer take for granted the pure and simple joy of being alive & in relationship with each other, the ability to dance and hug, to freely embrace all that is meaningful and *really* celebrate it. This simple posture of gratitude and presence is something we will always think of when we think of Phoebe & Henry’s wedding weekend, but it is also what has reignited our passion as storytellers of wedding days. We LOVE weddings not because of the glorious locations and pretty details (although those are amazing), but because they are a rare & incredible intersection of two people’s lives & stories, two families becoming one. They are days we get to slow down time, celebrate a couple’s journey here, encourage their journey ahead & (most importantly) lean into the gift of the present moment – to simply enjoy being together, to laugh and cry and embrace all the emotions that come, and gratefully pay attention to the gravity of the here & now. Phoebe & Henry (and their loved ones) knew this well. We loved looking around on their day and seeing so many people making up for lost time, drying tears over their heartfelt vows, taking film photos to capture the magic while remaining present, and *truly* leaving it all on the dance floor. All of their loved ones were deeply invested in their story and grateful to be a part of something so special, and Phoebe & Henry were bursting with joy at every moment- constantly sharing “this is wild!” belly laughs between all the hugs & deep breaths.

Phoebe & Henry, thank you– we are so grateful we got to witness & tell your love story. Your energy and passion for life, each other & your loved ones is beautiful & so contagious and we hope your wedding film is a forever reminder of the love within & around you always. Wishing you a lifetime of joy immeasurable, pasta dinners full of good company & some cute towhead babies along the way!

Editing away on this one and can’t even believe the amount of love and energy this day held. Countless moments full of ear-to-ear, all consuming smiles, both fists in the air, jumping for joy kind of love — and dance floor energy to beat! What an honor to capture. Phoebe & Henry, you are so loved. And we are so excited to give your moments back to you! 🤍

Do you ever look at photos of yourself (or of you & your person) and are immediately transported back to that time and place, and what it felt like to be you in that moment? Photos (and video) can be so powerful in that way. We love that we get to be the ones behind the camera, showing our couples how they felt, who they were & how they loved at a specific moment in time.

10 years into our love story, one thing we are sure of is that nothing changes you like love does. When you open up all the doors and windows of your soul to another (inviting all the light and wind to blow in), it transforms you! We have grown and evolved and taken risks and healed and made memories and a home and a business together (all a part of our becoming) & in many ways we are not the same people we were ten years, five years, or even a year ago. We had many conversations about this throughout the last year & all the change it brought for our little fam– and decided it was time for us to get on the other side of the camera 🙃. We called up our (sweet & talented) pal to come over & capture us as we are, and we are so thankful to have the forever memory of the simple joys of now– morning coffee in the home we made together, working & creating in our little office, and all the quirks and glory of who we are/felt/loved in this moment.

Thank you for these precious heirlooms & to all the couples who have allowed us to do the same for them. We look forward to many more years of this 💛

This father of the bride took the opportunity during his toast to speak life, identity and encouragement to his new son because his own father couldn’t. It was the most beautiful glimpse at the heart of fatherhood & an inspiring reminder that we all have the power to be a stand-in parent to someone who needs it (in the moments where it counts & in the small ones too). Our hearts swell with gratitude for everyone who has had the gift of a father like this— good dads are healing and hope for the world and we celebrate them today.

And to the dads of different kinds— the single mothers playing both roles, the stand-in dads of all kinds, the dads mourning a child, the dads praying for a child, the bonus & step dads, the teachers & coaches who love their students/players as their own, the dads to fur babies— you are healing and hope for the world and we celebrate you too.

And most importantly, if you are mourning a father in any way— we see you and send you all of our love and comfort today. You are loved.

Happy Father’s Day 🤍

ABOUT US

We focus on films for the adventurous and passionately in love. For those with big dreams and a deep desire for forever with their best friend. For those who believe their love is worth celebrating and aren't afraid to make their wedding day as unique as they are. For those who want a marriage more than a wedding, who put care and intention in the words they promise each other, and believe their story is worth honoring.

Marriage is one of our life's greatest gifts. We cherish the photos and film from our first day as husband and wife, and we hope you will too. We strive to not just create videos for you to remember, but family heirlooms for you to re-live. We believe good storytellers are attentive, intentional, and subtle – leaving sacred white space for you to feel, cry, dance, laugh, and enjoy the precious moments you're in with the people you love the most. These are the organic, precious moments we strive to honor and capture, so if we forget to shoot your shoes or your cake topper it's likely because we were caught documenting your mom drying your dad's tears or your grandpa taking you out to the dance floor.

When the day comes to a close, we spend weeks carefully stitching together these moments you'll soon be able to re-live & hold dear. We spend hours building and editing your film, searching for the perfect music to accompany the footage of your love story, and I'll definitely cry at LEAST once. Your love is deserving of our best work, and we'll always strive to give you just that.
