Scott, John and I would like to thank everyone who helped support the independent mom and pop shop Factory Records during our annual clearance sale this year.

Whether you shared some posts for us or made multiple trips to buy multiple boxes of records, we appreciate all of you.

We're stoked you helped us clean house. We'll be starting fresh once again on Wednesday, after we shuffle the racks around a little bit to make shopping a little more convenient.

The best Factory Records $1 parking lot sale of the year is this Sunday, Nov 12, from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m.

This sale marks the end of our annual clearance sale, and like always, we'll have the biggest and freshest selection of $1 records and CDs at this sale. The sale also spans all major genres as we will be weeding out the entire shop and multiple boxes from our storage.

Dealers encouraged: If you have a shop or online store, this is a great event to stock up at!

Please no line ups prior to 8 a.m. We will not allow shopping until 10 a.m., although if we get set up early, we may open a little early. Bring your own box!

This sale runs concurrent with the Factory Records 50% Off Clearance Sale which you should also check out (our entire brick and mortar stock is 50% off - check our Instagram or page for details) BUT is a separate event, so $1 means $1. And it's now $1 plus tax. That's life.

ROBERT SMITH has announced THE CURE will RETIRE after the 50th anniversary of their debut album in 2029.

“I’m 70 in 2029, and that’s the 50th anniversary of the first Cure album [Three Imaginary Boys],” Smith said in a new interview with Matt Everitt. “If I make it that far, that’s it. In the intervening time, I’d like to include playing concerts as part of the overall plan of what we’re going to do. I’ve loved it; the last 10 years of playing shows have been the best 10 years of being in the band. It pi**es all over the other 30-odd years! It’s been great.”
