Celebrity Cruises -Shimmerbox

Super excited to be involved with this one. If you’re sailing on any ships soon you will probably get to see this very cool show that I had the pleasure of doing all the backing tracks for! Celebrity is the first cruiseline I had ever worked with a couple years ago, and getting to come back in a new capacity for this show was a fantastic experience.

Haven't posted in a while, but I've been very lucky to stay busy with studio work during these weird times!

I'm in town with open dates for tracking sessions until mid May, and can take on remote work for editing, mixing, and mastering any time past that as well. Shoot me a dm or hit my website and send a message (link in bio) to talk about your project! 🎶

This pic is from a super fun mic set up for an acoustic track for Shaking of Leaves. Zeb played me the song once, and I really wanted to capture the raw emotion that came from the vibe of hearing him across the room. Instead of a more traditional setup, I used a stereo ribbon and a spaced pair of RØDE Microphones NT5's several feet away, with an Avantone Pro CV12 and a Shure SM7B as closer spot mics on his voice and guitar for a little extra presence, and captured him doing one take through the tune. Got a real nice Wonder Years - "Madelyn" vibe that I was going for, can't wait for yall to hear it when it comes out 🤘🏻
