Arkansas Aerial Views, a division of Sharpe Videography and Sharpe Wedding Films is a Part 107 certified company.

What does that mean?

The Part 107 Commercial Drone Pilot Training is a pilot certification with a small UAS rating intended for use by certified drone pilots getting paid to fly their drones. Part 107 refers to the rules that the Federal Aviation Administration has come up with to integrate the use of drones into the National Airspace System (NAS).

How does this effect you.

Hiring a non-Part 107 certified drone operator can result in fines not only for the person that did the flying but for the person that hired him for the job as well. These fines range between $1,000 and $11,000

Just because you have a drone it doesn't mean you have to fly 400 feet in the air all the time. A drone will allow you to get angles that were once impossible. To me it's just another camera in my arsnal. Only this one flys. :)

Our very brief flight off of the helipad at Conway Regional Hospital. Wind gusts forced us to reschedule our dusk mission to capture the before shots of the parking lot lights before the brighter LED ones are installed. We'll try again tomorrow.
