Natural State Parent Magazine I am so excited to announce a new publication dedicated to reaching families in Faulkner, White and North Pulaski County.

Debuting in May 2017, Central Arkansas Parent Magazine will provide an insightful, upbeat look at what makes our community a special place to live. My husband, Timothy and I moved back to central Arkansas in 2014 after he finished his enlistment with the United States Marine Corps. While he was active duty I had the opportunity to work for the official Marine Corps Newspaper for Camp Lejeune Marin

e Corp Base. In my position, I coordinated the annual Heroes at Home Military Spouse Awards, print advertising, and the launch of many niche publications including a publication for parents. We didn’t hesitate to settle in the area. Faulkner County is home to many communities that have shown great strength and determination. We have three children ages 9 months to 5 years and could not imagine raising them in a more suitable place. We also look forward to hosting events throughout the months and years to come that will showcase families with extraordinary stories of perseverance and commitment to making a place better than they found it.

Along with securing those supplies, please make sure you also schedule your child's well visit, immunizations, and any sports physicals to ensure your child has a healthy start to the school year!!
