Last Thursday the Montgomery County Commissioners honored the county’s NAACP chapters for their unwavering dedication to civil rights, social justice, and community advancement. The recognition, which took place during the Board of Commissioners February 6th, 2025, meeting in honor of Black History Month. Commissioner Makhija highlighted the invaluable contributions these chapters have made to Montgomery County and its residents.
